NEVER FORGET

As everyone gets set to enjoy the long Memorial Day weekend, it is important that each of us remember what it is for. The freedom each of us enjoys has been paid for by the blood of many generations of brave American men and women. If you served in the military, thank you. If you have family or friends currently serving, be sure to give them a special thanks. While many of us think there are some problems in our country, I’ll take a bad day in the good old USA over a good day anyplace else. God Bless America. Never Forget.

What is the conotation of your salutation? I think you need to revisit your wording and stop using spell check. Unless……you meant it that way.

Jason, I understand your message, even if others don’t. Most of us served because we wanted to, for whatever the personal reasons. It is always nice that someone remembers they don’t have to speak another language, due to the fact that some gave all: some just gave a lot. Suprise, no spell check and yes: I am not politically correct!

Thanks Milt, but it was actually Len Dunman’s post, and not mine. I don’t really understand what was wrong with the comment Victor. I believe Len is a veteran himself, and he was just giving a little thanks. Can you elaborate on your issue with his comments?

Sorry Len, for the lack of remembering who wrote the verbage due to the comment. Once again sorry on not giving credit to the “true” author.
