Home > All Mercertown Blog Posts, Contractor Web > ADVANCED SEARCH OPTION

The “Advanced” search option on the Contractor Web was released last night.  It looks great so far, and it appears that our compatibility issues were solved.  If you get a chance to play with it for a little while, let me know in the comment section of this post what you think about it.

Something  that I though was helpful, is when you search for freight around a certain city, the freight will be organized by how far away from the city you are.  It displays the closest freight to you at the top!  Comment away!

    Morning Jason,

I didn’t get to see the advanced search you had up before, but I like this one just fine. I havn’t played with it much, but I think it is just what we need. I am used to taking the time to fill in the blanks for beter search results in other search sites, so I know the more detail you put in the better the result. Thanks for your ongoing efforts.

Spent 30 minutes fiddling with it on my iPhone and it’s working perfectly. One question. The next time you guys decide to fiddle with it, what would you say to adding a trailer filter? I pull a van, and I usually have to look and scroll through alot of the deck freight to even find our loads since they are at the bottom of the list alphabetically. Yes I’m being selfish and I know that would only help a select few but it would make it 10 times easier for us. The step deck guys might find that useful as well.

Adding a line for “trailer type” would be great if possible.
