Just got word this morning that Monte Logan, unit 5038, passed away yesterday.  Monte was about to celebrate his 12th year here at Mercer, and he was an outstanding contractor.  He will be greatly missed by the entire Mercer family.

I am so glad Mercer is telling info like this. It seems like in the past 2-3 years if something happened to someone, unless friends called and told you about it you wouldn’t find it out for months. Thanks for posting these things.

Monte was a nice man and a good friend. We ran with him a few times and just saw him in January. This is sad news and we will really miss him.
We agree with Carol, we have needed this place to hear about our friends and fellow drivers. Thank for this special space.

I try to put this type of news out there for you all. I know it is tough to let everyone know what is going on. Sometimes I am limited to what I can disclose due to HIPPA laws, and other legal issues. I will do my best to keep you all informed though.
