Preselection Option Update #4,580

There is a rule that your coordinator has had to follow for a long time, that you will have to follow now that you are preselecting your own freight.  As you know, at lunch, your coordinator leaves from 12:30 to 1:30.  CBD freight (not booked)  will run during this time period, and it is possible that you can preselect that freight.  The problem is, there are no coordinators here to offer that freight out all of the trucks in line for it.  If you preselect, and get accepted on a load during lunch, you may be removed off of it after we return to the office to run the load in the correct order.  Any questions, shoot me an email.

I don’t quite understand preselecting during lunch. Are you saying that if I preselect during lunch, after lunch I’m no longer preselected?

Possibly. Freight will run the board, while all coordinators are gone to lunch. If you preselect a load, and it gets accepted, it may have not been offered to everyone in front of you on the list, because there are no coordinators here to offer freight. So, when we get back, we will re-run the load, and make sure that it runs the board correctly. We have to be fair, and follow the First In First Out system.
