Wounded Warrior Project

wwp

I am excited to tell all of you that Mercer is now a corporate sponsor of the Wounded Warrior Project!  The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that raises funds, and directly contributes to our soldiers that are injured during duty.  Mercer has agreed to be a corporate sponsor, and to raise a minimum of $25,000.  We feel like that is a small goal however.  I think that we can come together and easily surpass it.

We have formed a committee here in Louisville that is going to organize some future events to raise money for this great project.  If you want any information on how you can help support our wounded warriors, please email me at jschaftlein@mercer-trans.com.

Jason We think this is great we all need to support our soldiers in some way. Ken and I met a chaplin at ft. irwin calif. that stay’s in touch with us.The hospital in afganistan has a great need for hygene products for our wounded. When wounded and taken to hosp. their stuff is packed up and sent home due to lack of funds the hosp. has to choose between bandages and med’s or hygene so we are trying to help. Ken and I along with Micky and Joann Green have just sent 50 bags of supplys to them. If anyone want’s to help I have the address. Joyce Freeman 1-706-988-9046
